Teaching

Colin has accumulated meaningful teaching experience through a number of roles, including his position as Adjunct Professor of Saxophone at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Assistant Faculty at the Eastman Summer Saxophone Institute, a Saxophone Teaching Artist at the Hana Hou Music Program, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Eastman School of Music.

Colin is a decorated musician, having receive accolades from international music competitions and degrees from some of the most prestigious institutions in music. He specializes in Classical Saxophone Performance and Chamber Music.

Colin is currently offering private at-home saxophone lessons in the Boulder, Colorado area, as well as virtually.

Lessons will be held weekly, and are either thirty, forty-five, or sixty minutes in duration.

I aim to improve both technical and musical maturity in my students, and create an exploratory environment in lessons. I hope that lessons will be both fun and challenging, and will allow us to create meaningful improvements each week.
